African Hausa Medium Purses of Ghana/Nigeria
Interesting shaped purses with leather trimmed, decorated with cowrie shells around a picture of African houses/villages, handmade with long shoulder straps.
This bag was handmade in Nigeria. The sides, straps, and clasp are made of a unique leather found in the Kano region. These elements are hand stitched to the front and back, which are made from straw mats that are a cultural staple. There is also a handle so this bag doubles as a handbag. Each bag is unique in its making, so allow for slight differences in the final product.
